About

I’m an illustrator + designer with a background in advertising design, branding and marketing. I was born an artist and knew it around age 7 or so. You could find me drawing in my little green sketchbook or creating some school art project. I remember my Mom telling me a lot to… “get my head out of the clouds.” One of these days… I’m going to illustrate that.

I enjoyed creating logos and branding for ad agencies, design studios and corporate for many years. Then I felt my heart calling me to follow my dreams and do what I really always wanted to do… create ART. Now I spend happy days in my studio creating whimsical art and illustrations to be licensed on products. It hasn’t been an easy transition from an establish career for so many years, but I’ve never been so deliriously happy in my entire life. And if we’re not doing what we love and what makes us happy, what is the point of life?

The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams. ~ Oprah Winfrey

I specialize in digital illustrations that are whimsical, colorful and fun. My ideas and concepts start in my sketchbook, other times I create right on my iMac in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. And not often enough I get out my watercolors or acrylic paints and get messy. I love coffee and a good design challenge and I’ve always said that there’s nothing like the power of a deadline for getting work done.

I illustrate + license my art in many markets including garden flags, greeting cards, wall art and home decor.

Originally from New Hampshire (LOTS of snow), I’m now currently living in the beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico area with my furry studio mates — rescue dogs, Lily and Molly and a sweet (but evasive) tortoiseshell cat named Bella.

With the help of my agent Suzanne Cruise, of Cruise Creative Services Inc.   my art and illustrations are making their way
out into the world and onto more licensed products, giving people a smile or a chuckle along the way.
